A former Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Sani Lawan Kofar Mata, is dead.Africans & Diaspora
Solacebase reports that, a credible sources told thae medium that, SolaceBase Alhaji Sani Lawan Kofar Mata died Sunday evening in Kano due to ill health.
It added that, the late politician was an associate of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau in the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and was very prominent during the 2007 governorship election.
The deceased later left the ANPP in 2011 alongside other senior members of the party before subsequently joining the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Solacebase also reports that the funeral prayer will hold tomorrow, Monday by 9.00 am at his residence in Kano.
